- The MLA International Bibliography (MLAIB) will be
accessible as both a stand-alone Chadwyck-Healey Literature
Collection and as a module within Literature Online,
where it will be cross-searchable with ABELL and over 130
full-text journals
- Search options are almost identical to those for ABELL, and
allow every field in the MLA data to be searched
- Boolean operators AND, OR and NOT are supported, as are
proximity operators NEAR and FBY (followed by)

- Wildcard searching is supported: e.g. masculin*, wom?n
- Separate search screen for the MLA Directory of
Periodicals
- Within Literature Online, you can opt to include
journal full text in your search, or restrict to searching within
the MLAIB record only
