Searching and ordering are easy when you use the SIM web site as a quick and easy starting point to order any of our newspaper titles. As you mark the titles you need and then submit your request when your search is completed, your input is submitted as a quote request. You will receive a confirmation of your request for your records, including silver format pricing as a reference price. We contact you and verify the titles and years you want; then your order is processed.

This UMI Serials in Microform (SIM) catalog includes titles offered by ProQuest as part of the UMI Newspapers in Microform product line, including print newspaper indexes. Please note that UMI® Periodicals in Microform are now available exclusively from National Archive Publishing Company. Please visit the NAPC web site to view UMI Periodicals in Microform titles.

While you'll find many titles to suit your needs in the SIM, it's best to contact your representative for a comprehensive list of titles in your area of interest. Our catalog changes on a regular basis, so check back often. As you use this catalog, please remember that prices are subject to change.

To request a quote by mail or fax, please specify the following information:

• Catalog order number
• Title
• City; state/province; and country of publication
• Reel numbers (if available); volumes; and years desired
• Positive or negative polarity (Positive is black print on a clear background)
• Format: 35mm, 16mm, or microfiche format
• Type of 16mm cartridge, if desired: 3M; Ektamate; or Flange
• Film type: Silver or non-silver film type for current volume/years and future volume/years
• Delivery frequency of microfiche titles for which a frequency is offered (quarterly, annually)
• Shipping and billing addresses (if different). Please include institution name; contact name; street address; city; state/province; postal code; email address; and telephone number.
• Purchase order number
• Tax exemption number (certificate must be on file with us, if your institution qualifies. Same number applies to all subsequent purchases.)
