I am on an academic account. Why do I keep losing my connection to Factiva.com after only a few minutes? Can I increase the amount of time I will stay connected to Factiva.com?
Answer

When you log in to Factiva.com on an academic or public library account, the default session time is set at 5 minutes. This means that you will be logged out if your browser does not record any activity for at least 5 minutes.

Academic and public library accounts have short session times to accommodate multiple users sharing a limited number of user IDs. Your account's administrator (usually a librarian) can request that the session time be increased.
