Error 131110: I am getting the error "You are not approved to log in to Factiva from this network (IP address). Please contact your corporate library or local administrator."  What should I do?

Answer

Many Academic Factiva accounts accomplish security via IP restriction. This means that you must be accessing the product from an IP address that is recognized as being a valid point of access as predetermined by your institution. If you attempt to access your Factiva product(s) outside of a recognized IP address, you will receive the error message noted just above.
Solution: If you are student or library patron, please contact your library to obtain the correct instructions for accessing Factiva. If you are the Account Administrator, please contact Customer Service for assistance. You will need to know your institution's IP address range.
