- Attention Macintosh Users: Please use Netscape, Mozzila, or Firefox as your browser to access HeritageQuest Online. There is a known issue using Microsoft Internet Explorer. For details click here.
- For Ancestry Library Edition browser requirements see below.
- The Basic Image Viewer allows all customers (both Mac and PC users) who are using current versions of the Internet Explorer or Netscape internet browsers to view the images and does not require an additional software download. This viewer is also optimized for customers with slower modem connections.
- The Advanced Image Viewer requires a free software download and has several advanced features. It is designed for use only with the Internet Explorer browser for the PC.
Access and Authentication
HeritageQuest Online: We offer IP and Referring URL based access.
Ancestry Library Edition: We offer ip access only. Remote access is not available for Ancestry Library Edition.

Administering your Account / Making Changes
For both HeritageQuest Online, and Ancestry Library Edition, changes to your account are made by contacting Customer Service.

- These databases are not OpenURL Source or OpenURL Target compliant with San Antonio Level 1 (SAP1).
- MARC Records are not available for these databases.
Meta-Searching
- XML Gateway is not available.
- These databases do not support Z39.50 Access.
